Welcome to our Year 6 Transition page, here you'll find useful information about your child's transition from Year 6 into Year 7 in August 2027. 

Transition Days - Monday 29th & Tuesday 30th June 2026

We are looking forward to welcoming your child to our upcoming Transition Days on Monday 29th June and Tuesday 30th June.

These two days will provide an excellent opportunity for pupils to meet staff, make new friends, become familiar with the school environment, and begin their exciting journey with us. As they prepare to join our school community, they will also be introduced to our school DNA of Ambition, Determination and Respect – the values that underpin everything we do and help our pupils achieve their full potential.

As part of the transition process, we need to know how your child will be getting home at the end of each day. Please could you complete the attached form using the link provided at your earliest convenience. Link: How will my child be getting home? – Fill out form

If you have not already done so, please also complete the information form that was sent to you via Applicaa. This is a vital part of the admissions process as it provides us with important information that helps us keep your child safe and ensures we have the necessary permissions in place before they start school. We would be grateful if this could be completed as soon as possible.

We are also delighted to announce a special incentive for pupils attending both transition days. Pupils who demonstrate the ambition and determination to attend on both days will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win one of five bikes, each complete with a helmet, lights and lock – a fantastic way to kick off the summer and celebrate the start of their journey with us.

We are excited to welcome our new cohort and help them develop the confidence, ambition, determination and respect that will support them throughout their time at school and beyond.
